Project Overview

On 13 September 2022, William Ruto was sworn in as Kenya’s fifth President before tens of thousands of people at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, with more than 20 heads of state and government among the guests. The ceremony included the handover of the instruments of power, a 21-gun salute and a military parade, broadcast live across the country.

MoSound was the main service provider and delivered the occasion end to end: event management, stakeholder management and event production; sound, lighting and LED screens; filming and live feed; stage design and construction; and the state luncheon for visiting dignitaries at State House that followed the ceremony.
